He has taken his first little steps (although I wouldn't yet describe him as a "walker") and he has so many words! Mama, Dada, ball, keys, shoes, no, uh-oh, cheers, Shew! (for stinky diapers), baby, bye-bye, and probably a couple others I am forgetting. He has started fighting back when Liam tries to take things from him, but Sam doesn't hold that against big brother, still wanting to copy and do whatever Liam is doing.
He knows lots of animal sounds, can blow kisses, points to his eyes if you ask him where they are, and gives good snuggly hugs. He does not nap well anywhere but his own bed, and he still hates most meat, but he has such a cute personality that we quickly forgive any difficulties.
These photos are from his 1 year photo shoot, which we took about a month late. Look at that sweet boy!
