Espana, Barcelona, part 1

On Friday, we took the train from Calafell into Barcelona.  We dressed the kids in their matching sailboat shirts, but failed to get a picture of all them together.  Booo.

Upon arrival, we figured out the subway and made our way to Barcelona's Rambla...the tree-lined pedestrian area that ALL COOL CITIES MUST HAVE.

After a bit of walking, we edged into the Boqueria, Barcelona's famous outdoor market.  It did not disappoint.

Liam is posing next to an Iberian pig.  These are the special black pigs that, after eating only acorns their entire life, get turned into Jamon.  We snacked on quite a bit of this during our trip.

There were also seafood stands galore.
OH THE DELICIOUSNESS OF NON-KOSHER SEAFOOD!!!

Nuts and fruit and veggies...

 Lots of tapas

 And fresh juice

MMMMM, La Boqueria, THANK YOU!
