One of the things I really wanted to do back home was take Liam to the zoo. He has been before, of course. We visited the National Zoo when he was little, and we have been to the Sarajevo Zoo several times, but he probably doesn't remember the DC zoo, and the Sarajevo Zoo has very few animals. So we arranged with Aunt Shanny and Avery to meet at the newly improved
Birmingham Zoo with the kids wearing their matching cousin outfits...hopefully so we could get some cute photos of the two of them together. It was a really fun day, but the photo ops just didn't happen. Oh well!
