A couple of fun events have happened with the Kindergarten recently. The first was a field trip to the
Bloomfield Science Museum to wrap up their unit on shadows and light. I volunteered to be a chaperone, and I must say, being a parent on a field trip is MUCH better than being a teacher on one! Granted, I was one of 5 adults with 13 kids instead of 1 of 10 adults with 125 teenagers, but still.
The museum is impressive, very hands on and interactive, and the kids had a BALL!

After the shadows and lights exhibit, we went to the toy workshop, where the kids got to invent new toys and/or fix broken ones. There were all kinds of pieces and materials to work with, and it was fun to see their imaginations and outside-the-box thinking first hand.
Our second big event was today. Q and U got married! The kids got to dress up, and they loved every minute!

The kids made their own decorations as well as the cake.
Liam made a bowtie (here with best pals Atticus and Ben),
and Head of School, Mr. David, even attended!
