Zagreb for Thanksgiving, part 2

After our morning outing, we returned home to prep for a late Thanksgiving lunch.  Josh and Anna got their favorite local restaurant to roast our turkey for us (tiny Europeans ovens can't handle whole birds), so that left us the sides.  Anna whipped up green bean casserole, and I smuggled in sweet potatoes to make the sweet potato casserole.  Anna and Geoff worked the dressing, and Josh picked up the turkey, which came with a delicious helping of dumpling style noodles.  (The turkey was sitting right on top of a heap of them, where they just soaked up all the deliciousness.  Those "turkey noodles" turned out to be Liam's favorite part of the meal!)

We put the little ones down for a nap, toasted our friendship, and then we tucked in!

 What a turkey!

Since we had such a late, filling lunch, we decided to snack that evening
with some finds from our trip to Dolac.
