Liam first found a little something for Sam.
Then he began opening his own gifts.
One was a 2-in-1 Transformers costume.
It had one costume (which turns inside out to make a different costume) and two masks.
Bumblebee!
There was also a Flash costume,
and a few card games in his stocking.
(Santa also brought books, pajamas, sticker books, and lego kits.)
Liam also loved the gifts from family: legos from GG and Grandpa, Chutes and Ladders from Mims and Baba, a Star Wars lego kit from Aunt Steph and Uncle Colin, a remote control monster truck from Uncle Connor and Aunt "Shanny", play-dough from Uncle Jim and Aunt Betty, and Chase the RescueBot and a flashlight from Granny. His parents really appreciate the money for his savings account too...thank you Grandpa George and Grandma Helen, Uncle Matt and Aunt Laura, and Uncle Bobby and Aunt Kim! And we can't wait to read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Uncle Brice and Aunt Bridgette, which arrived the last day of Christmas. Thank you, thank you all for remembering our boys even though we are so far away.
We spent the day building the various lego kits and playing with all the new toys, and then Chef Geoff made us a lovely, spontaneous pad thai for dinner since our Christmas dinner plans had to be canceled due to our friends' youngest having pneumonia. It was a nice, simple Christmas, and we hope yours was lovely as well.
