On Sunday, the 28th, we had a "First Birthday Fiesta" for Sam. I used my colorful table linens, Geoff made pulled chicken tacos and homemade salsa, and we had extremely special rotel cheese dip (supplied by Mims since we can get neither rotel tomatoes or Velveeta here). The food was delicious and everyone seemed to have a good time, birthday boy included! We simple cannot fathom that he is one. He is a sweet, dear heart, and we are blessed he is a part of our family. We love you, Sammy boy!
