When we woke up Saturday morning, we got the sad news that baby Layla was running a fever that was not really responding to cooling attempts, so the Saxtons headed back to Zagreb a day early. As sad as we were, we didn't mope inside all day. Instead, we headed out to
Schonbrunn Palace, the imperial summer home. We took the immaculate public transportation out to see the Christmas market there and tour the grounds.
Now THAT's a summer home!
Taking a break for a snack next to a heater,
before heading out back to tour the grounds.
An attempt at a family photo.
Sam did not like the sun in his face.
A little rest while waiting for the train back to the city
